Kragthorpe is a coach with just one bad stop, and that as the head man. He is a good offensive coach who will be able to utilize the many talents LSU has and turn the Tigers back into a functional, consistent offense.

Course, asking your Offensive Coordinator to put your talent-laden team somewhere in top 100 isn’t really all that unreasonable.

I think this is Krags thinking with our talent and the offense.

"we're going to line up and run this play. you know we'll run this play. stop us."

Good read.
With our power backs, we should open up PAP and more down field +30 yard passes.

Not really a big fan of Kragthorpe, but if this is his approach (unlike his predecessor) he will be happy, loved, & very succesful @ LSU!

Sounds good, but you know that the minute it stops working, the cries of "our offense is too predictable" will fire up.

Shotgun formation, Shepard is lined up at WR, he goes in motion and lines up as a RB next to JJ, gee I wonder who will get the fricking ball??

I'm really hoping Kraghthorpe will not be that predictable like Crowton was. I'm not a big fan of Kragthorpe, but from what I'm reading he sounds like what this offense needs. A simple offense with more attention to fundementals then the fancy 'let's confuse the defense' crap Crowton ran that ended up confusing the offense even more

Nice summary.

Krag > Crowton

Thanks for the link. Personally for LSU, I really enjoyed the reads. I hope all the nagatorranters will be happy with this hire. He has all the players in place to become a great OC at LSU. Should be and can't wait to see a great offense........
