Are any athletes more injury prone than women's tennis players?

It seems like the top players are always hurt and missing tournaments, or retiring from matches.

It just seems like it since tennis is not a team sport. When one athlete gets injured in a tennis match, it's much different from an athlete missing from football, basketball, baseball, etc. Venus has retired from ONE match in a major tournament in her career. Injuries are a part of sports.
