Beautiful......gonna climb Baker one day. Went snowshoeing two weeks ago but there wasn't much snow. Very fun though. You should check out Hidden Lake lookout. I just found out about it.

Thanks for the link. I haven't even heard of that place before, but I've done a couple of hikes in that area. It looks like a place that won't be accessible until July though, so I'm gonna have to wait a while.

I haven't climbed to the top of Baker yet, but I know a couple people who have. It sounds like it's a great beginning mountain to do that though.

I would love to be able to do this off of the top of Baker: Guy speedflying off the top of Baker

No problem, I hadn't either until two weeks ago when I was reading some old log books, someone mentioned it, while I was at Devils Peak lookout.. eta....this lookout has year round access and is first come first serve if you get the itch, free too.

Two friends of mine have. I have heard it has routes for advanced mountaineers and beginner alike. It is on the list.

That's probably too far away for me to do anytime soon. Maybe if I move down to Vancouver or something I'll do it

I hear you but you do need to drive down this way and explore a little eventually. Not too bad of a drive, I was in Lynnwood last weekend

Not my photos.

Fairweather Range. Highest peak, 15,300.

Wrangell Mountains. There are two 16k+ peaks in this range and a few volcanos. This range is in between the Alaska/Chugach ranges and the St. Elias/Fairweather Ranges. Unbelievable stretch of the highest coastal mountains in the world and the highest peaks in N. America.

Some shots from elk hunts and packing for the Piss Firs on wildfires in the Marble Mountain and Trinity Alps Wilderness Areas in Northern California.

A good reminder to retrieve those errantly cast lures.

I will eventually. I will probably be moving a little closer to there in a month or two, so I might even check it out this summer.

Finally got around to uploading some panoramics I did of Banff National Park. I didn't alter these in any way, although I should have brightened a few of them up. I have the full size of these if anybody is interested for some reason.

I'll have to get back to you on that one. It was my brother's camera, but it wasn't anything special. It was just a somewhat new, but pretty basic Olympus digital camera. I think most new digital cameras have this setting on it.

Also, I just edited my original post and changed the way I uploaded the pictures so the quality is significantly improved.
