With TT graduating this year, we will not have any 6'4" to 6'5" receivers on our roster. Being that SEC play is so physical isn't it a priority to have a big body receiver that can take the weekly pounding and keep on ticking?

I don't think Les will bring on another WR for the class. We currently have:

Rueben Randle(6'3")
Armand Williams(6'3")
James Wright(6'2")

Alonzo Lewis(6'3")

next class: Avery Johnson(6'2")

I heard he is a small possibility only if we whiff on the big name defenders we're chasing after hard.

I listed James Wright already. The rest of those guys don't fall under the OP's category of big tall WR's.

I think Boone is around 6'1" and Toliver is around 6'. I think a WR should be at least 6'2" to be considered tall.

I will take every inch of Josh Reed's 5'10" frame and his pass catching ability. We have gotten away from that for some reason and falling in love with the trees.

We tried with the juco kids but none were going to make it in early so we passed.Duron Carter is now looking to catch on at UF or Miami.

I would also like to see Briggs come in as a grey shirt. But that wouldn't completely solve the problem. I think they want two big guys that can play. Hopefully Armand Williams or James Wright develop into that guy over the course of the next season. If not I found a Juco candidate for the 2012 class: LINK

And then there is always D'haquille in the 2013 class.

ETA: Jarvis Landry also helps, because even though he's shorter, his game is very similar to Josh Reed's and he can play outside or slot and be very productive at either.

Exactly how bad are his grades? Did he not have any guidance at home, or was something else going on?I can't understand how it could be that hard to pass highschool level courses.

I don't think it was his grades. I think it was the school that he went to before was not accredited in the LA school system.
