Anyone besides me see this guy? He was yelling and preaching, waving his bible, telling everyone to repent or go to Hell. He even got right up next to the line of people entering the stadium and continued. Then, leaving the stadium, there he was, still going, with some girl handing out tracts. I watch some Aggie get in his face, screaming at him.

Nothing against witnessing, but jeez, this guy was annoying. I thought someone was going to punch his light out!

The guy believes in his message. Probably not the best time to reach people when they've got football on the brain....on the other hand, when do people not have their mind cluttered with the activity of the day? Takes a big man to stand up in front of a crowd like that and talk about something most aren't interested in hearing.

complete waste of time. Makes himself feel better but there are better/more effective venues for this type activity.

People like that are just as misled about Christianity as the Taliban are about Islam minus the murdering and bombing. But sometimes I think they are such nutjobs they would if given the opportunity "in the name of God".

God just hates pro football. That is why college ball is on Saturday and the NFL is on Sunday.

More people have died in the name of religion since man learned to kill than for any other reason. It makes people crazy.

Agreed.

I got a feeling this thread will turn into an OT style religious argument and get anchored soon.

You know what...Jesus could return to this earth tomorrow morning..and guess what...we would never know if Cam Newton wins a national championship. Never take a day for granted and never doubt that the Lord Jesus will return as the bible dictates. There will be more peace and more hungry children fed when He does return than any hurt from a LSU loss or joy most posters get from rantfull speculations. I appauld the man for speaking up for Christ. Anyone who doesn't agree should examine their relationship with Him before it is too late. If you are embarrassed to see that man outside the gates of the stadium, then maybe Christ will be embarrassed to see you at the gates of Heaven.

You just worry about your life, I'll worry about mine. God has nothing to do with it. God helps those who help themselves. !
