I agree but some blame has to go on the coach as well.

I understand that especially towards the end they didn't give him much talent to work with and injuries hurt them.
But consider this:
Fox has 4 losing seasons in 9 years.
Fox has 2 .500 seasons in those 9 years.
that's 6 of 9 seasons with a winning % below .500
He hasn't won a playoff game since '05.
I think he would be better served being a DC for a year and then getting into coaching. He is an elite DC though.
But according to Lacanfora unless Holmgren grabs Gruden he is getting Fox.

I liked Mangini and thought he had the browns going in the right direction. It was clear they lacked the talent at several positions. They made the best of what they had and beat the saints and patriots. But you simply do not lose to arch rival pittsburg steelers to the tune of 49-9.
