Going out to eat for anniversary tonight, trying to decide between these 2 places. I've never been to either one so I decided to consult the F&D gurus. Which Place would you prefer? What's your favorite cut of meat at either place, are they close to each other in price?

Flemings is the best steak in BR, IMO. Sullivans isn't top 3. I like the New York Strip and the Bone-in Ribeye. Not really a filet guy, but a lot of folks brag about the bone-in filet at Fleming's.

Again, Fleming's and it is not close.

Better steak, better sides, better service.

I recommend the Bone-in Ribeye and the Flemming's potatoes.

Sounds like it's gonna be Flemings in a landslide. Thanks for the input everyone

As stated...
Flemings serves Prime when Sullivan's does not. It's not even fair to really compare the two when it comes to quality of meat.
I went earlier in the week and really enjoyed the visit and I'm not a fan of steakhouses. The Prime Ribeye came out sizzling, and served on a warm plate. It was a tad heavy on the salt, but not over the top.
It's on the high end at about $39 for the Ribeye and $44 for the bone-in ribeye. Filets start at about $33 I think with no sides or salad. Service is always pretty damn good there as well.

Ok seriously... Flemming whips the ever living dogshit out of Sullivans in steak quality so does every other place that serves a Prime cut of steak.

Flemmings food is better and atmosphere is more conducive to an anniverary dinner. I like the bone-in ribeye but the lamb rocks too.

i like both meals. if you want better food and service and wine selection, flemings is the way to go, but sometimes i dont mind veering from the steak on a hot plate steak house experience and going to sullivans.

its not as polished as flemings in any matter, but i like it just fine.

Flemings FTW

In this order: Barbeque shrimp, NY Strip-medium, Flemings potatoes, and lava cake. Call me gay, but I also drink some of my lady's lemon drop martini. She always orders it.

BTW Flemmings has a pretty good deal right now.. 3 course meal salad, filet and lobster for entree side of carrots and desert for 98 for 2 people.

I was think about posting something along those lines originally. It really is, hot college age girls in really short black dresses.

Normally no, but when you're paying Sullivan prices and getting Outback quality steaks it is.
