Just asking, do you think that Miles is not allowing Crowton to do his job and pulling the reins on the offense??? I have heard some rumors from 45 minutes away and just wondering what everyone else thinks.

Who knows. He let Gary go apeshit in '08 and we set a new pick six record. You can't blame Les for wanting to protect his shitty QBs. Some of just refuse to give Les any credit whatsoever.

I wish Les would have held Crowton back more.

Les has total control of the program. Of that there can be no debate. It's easier for positigers to make GC a scapegoat for the offensive woes. The truth is Les has total responsibility.

He has the responsibility, that doesn't mean that he doesn't delegate it.

Let's see your offensive coordinator is one year removed from leading the 112th ranked offense in the country and just currently completed a year in which the offense was ranked 93rd with a passing game ranked dead last in the SEC. Miles needs to get off his arse and get more involved with this offense.

"I like what's going on," Miles said. "Our offensive line is maturing. Our quarterbacks are maturing. I like our receiving corps. I think this bowl game will be an opportunity for us to play best.

"I did see progress. I certainly have enjoyed the efforts our entire offensive staff has gone through. I think our offense has gotten better and our team is maturing."

This is just embarrassing. Hey Les, your offense ranked 90th in the country and 12th in the SEC. There was no freaking progress, get it. Your quarterbacks are not good. One of them can't even look down field when he scrambles. Guess which one that is. I'll give you a hint. He played the most.

so GC has stayed here for years while miles has fricked his offense up and damaged his reputation and despite that wants to return next season? Makes sense.

Jordan was actually quoted as saying that Crowton told him at halftime of the Bama game that they were going to open the playbook. We know how that half turned out. If true, why with the success would we then limit the offense again?

So who is making the decision to open and limit the playbook?

Not true.

There was if you were actually paying attention in the second half of the season.

And the other doesn't scramble and makes errant throws off his back foot when under pressure. Me, I'll take the 4-5 yards.

I should add Les has total responsibility and he is an offensive coach as well. He was also responsible for Malveto, but he corrected this.

Did Miles hold Crowton back at Oregon and BYU or in 2007?

You fricking clowns just can't let this JJ/JL QB controversy thing go, can you?

BTW, without JL coming in and saving games with his passing, the Tigers don't win 10 games.......

Que? 2 touchdown passes against UNC's JV and 2 touchdown passes in the last 11 games. Where was the improvement? 17 TD passes last year, FOUR this year. Again...improvement?

Are you completely unfamiliar with Les Miles's history with coaching changes? He's said this stuff before only for changes to be made a few weeks later. What in the world do you want him to say? "Our offense sucked, and we are looking at replacing our OC at the moment". Yep, that'd work well with the team and the people around him. That'd also help Crowton find a new job, too. Get half a brain, please.
