Does anybody hope he changes from CB to FS or SS next year and be the 3rd CB in the nickel? This would be like what Eric Berry did. I think Brooks probably will get PP7's corner spot. It would be really nice to have TM, BT, CL, and ER at safety next year. They need to redshirt Hatcher and move him LB to take over Baker's spot when he leaves. He is great against the run.

I agree that Hatcher needs to move to LB. We're going to be hurting for a stud LB next year. Baker is good, but he isn't KS and even then we need bigger linebackers...

1) I'm tired of seeing our undersized LBs. Get some fricking beef up there already.
2) Tharold Simon is going to be a player at CB. Not to mention we have an absolute stud with world class speed/size coming in in David Jenkins.
3) Keep Ron Brooks and Mathieu coming off the edges and playing nickel. That's where they both are best suited.

Im pretty sure tyrann was rated the number 1 cover corner out of highschool. Moving him from corner would take away from his strengths.

So was Eric Berry, and he had the same type of year as TM starting at CB as a true freshman. The reason I put Brooks as a starter is he is a 5th year senior, and they seem to get the nod most of the time. I know one thing for sure having Hatcher back is more fail than putting TM back there.

NO. Claiborne, Simon and Mathieu should be our cornerbacks with E. Ried and Loston as our FS and SS. Go ahead and move Hatcher to OLB so he can take over that spot once Francois leaves.

agreed, and as noted, Jenkins may come in and factor into the rotation.

you got their positions flip-flopped, and I'd be surprised if Taylor doesn't start again once he's healthy.

Stef and Hatcher are both srs. next yr. I'm cool with bumping Hatcher up to LB, but I think the young guys in the pipeline are about to shine.

Not me. Not with Taylor, Loston and Reid back there. I like safety just fine....I DON'T like corner without Mathieu.

We'll most likely see Brooks, Simon and Mathieu in at one spot, while Mo takes over PP7's lock job job.

Holy Crap! Is Hatcher a Sr. next year? It doesn't seem like he's been here that long.

I was just naming the positions, not where they played.

Agreed, but I think they will rotate a lot next year IMO. I'm also looking for Ronnie Vinson to play some next year as well.

There is absolutely no reason to move him from corner

It would be like taking the number one dual threat QB in the country and putting him at WR

Mathieu is no Eric Berry. He'll be a nickel guy throughout his career here.

So a guy as talented as Mathieu you leave as your 3rd CB his whole carrer? He would still be playing his usual spot everytime we are in nickel. Which is more often then not. I just wanted to get him on the field every play because he makes good things happen.

Why is everyone assumming that he can't play corner? Really not understanding this.
