Anybody who couldn't figure out a way to get Russell Shepard more involved with a higher impact doesn't deserve to stay.

yes

You guys feel better about knocking a coach over a player.

Execution is where this offense has struggled last two season and it boils down to qb plya.

UGA and Tenn have fresh qbs that both look better than JJ.

I just believe execution is bigger problem for this offense than scheme.

OC Coach Gary Crowton is the problem...check his all time coaching record. In every coachng job Crowton has had, his first year has always been better that the next year.. Should be the other way around. One always wants to get better, and better.....Not Gary Crowton...he gets worse every year. His entire coaching career has been in a decline, from his new job. He only last 3 or 4 years, in a new coaching job.......Crowton head coach at BYU.. .......2001 (12-1) 2002 (5-7) 2003 (4-8) 2004 (5-6)...2004 FIRED...

Yes. Execution is calling three running plays in the two minute offense and costing us a minute and half when down by two scores.

Execution is not letting Michael Ford touch the ball after the first half when had two decent runs.

Execution is throwing the first fade route ever to your TE in the last game of the season where a win puts you in the Sugar Bowl.

Execution is not calling a screen pass or draw for an entire game in which your offensive line was getting punished by the defensive line.

You are blinded by irrational hate.

Hell no! Crowton must go! Hell No! Crowton must go!...

LSU is a 10-2 team ranked #10 in the BCS.

It managed to achieve that despite being ranked #107 out of 120 in passing and 50th in points scored. LSU's saving grace this season was a solid defense (except in the two games it lost at Auburn and Arky).

Imagine had LSU had an offense that ranked in the upper 1/3 in both passing, rushing and points scored...

Every team in America wouldn't just respect the purple and gold; they'd fear it.

Let the Ragin' Cajuns have GC. They deserve each other.

I explained this yest to you but apparently you are too fricking stupid or "blind" to understand.

quote:

The first gained 8 yrds the second gained a first down.
At this point a fg was as good as a td.

MF had one decent run and the other was a gain of 3... besides Ridley is the better back.

quote:

stupid fricking play... JJ has tough enough time completing slants much less fades.
DP is 6-3 the corner covering hiim was 5-10.. so there was a mismatch, just the wrong qb was in the game.

we ran a screen to ridley right before the fad to DP and our draws are with JJ.

You are an idot and blinded by an un-natural love affair for a below avg JR qb.

yep gary crowton sure got worse in his 3rd year with the bears. after two straight losing seasons with shane matthews and some otyher jabroni he went 13-3 with JIM MILLER! yes, JIM MILLER! and....wow..he really dropped off at oregon. he went from 34 ppg to 29..yeah that is horrendous. stop spewing that agenda driven article. it has pros and cons in it. and some crap is blown out of proportion. but i agree he needs to go but the new OC needs to lock les miles in a closet...maybe we could get leach? LMAO

I agree that our execution wasn't very good, but there may have been a reason we didn't execute well and that falls on the OC and the HC.

Having said that, I'm ready for Crowton to find a new home, and us a new OC.

Look, I understand that you don't have a clue when it comes to football, so I'll try to explain slowly. There were three runs. The third gained a first down. No one is arguing about the yardage gained. The problems is that it took over a minute and a half off of the clock when we were down two scores. It was one of the worst management displays I've ever witnessed. It may be worse that Tennessee this season because it continued for three straight plays.

The first gained 8 yrds the second gained a first down.

Not quite. We score a TD there and we get to try for the two. If we miss, then we still have a chance to onside and go for a TD for the win. A FG solidified the fact that the only way to win was get a TD at the very end of the game AND get the two point conversion.

So, no, a FG is not the same as a TD in that situation.

Not to mention that our offense was in rhythm prior to those three running plays.

quote:

MF had one decent run and the other was a gain of 3... besides Ridley is the better back

No doubt Ridley was the better back, but Ford has been great the last few weeks (especially on the speed option) and you don't put the ball in his hands one time. Instead, you opt for the worst RB on the team during your two minute offense.

The fade is a low percentage play regardless of who is in the game. Why not throw it to one of your receivers or better yet, use your running QB near the goal line? Just another wonderful example of Crowton's inability to put his players in a position to succeed.

quote:

We ran one screen play while our offensive line was getting demolished all day.

And a read option is not a draw.

I just recognize the real problem. I've said many times that neither Jefferson or Lee will ever succeed with Crowton at OC.

ANd who is in charge of making sure it is executed? Or getting players out there that can execute it? Or making it simpler so the players you have CAN execute it?

Answer to all.......the OC!
