i guarantee if he could've caught the ball he would have went for it. yes it looked close but it's one of those human instincts where u can tell if a ball is thrown too far ahead of you for u to catch, even if only by a foot or 2. he probably was preparing to have to make a hit if an ole miss player tried to catch it or just lost the ball as other people on here have said

D may be playing on Sundays. He reminds me of Robert Royal when he played at LSU. RR is still in the Pros, an has had a good career.

Or maybe he got mad at the other player because he said something to him... Like jordy called out on the radio that ole miss was doing a lot of trash talking.

I was in that corner and had a good look. If he woulda caught it he woulda got knocked the f out... Chad jones style. I turned around to the dude behind me and said he just didn't want to get knocked out... And I don't blame him.. Dude jad plenty of other big plays in the game. If anything Jefferson left him out to dry on that one... Blame him

If he'd went for that ball no way he would've caught it & he & maybe the OM dude would both be messed up. Agree it was a bad throw by JJ that exposed DP. Some balls a player can just tell if it's worth it or not.
