yes it looked close but it's one of those human instincts where u can tell if a ball is thrown too far ahead of you for u to catch, even if only by a foot or 2.

get a clue....he pulled up. 93,000 and two announcers saw it....plus 10M more watching on cable. let's hope it doesn't happen again.

Y'all are some tough dudes. I would love to see you go out there and take the hit he woulda got if he went after that ball.

And why not call Jefferson or lee pussys for sliding because it's the same thing. Nothing but a player trying to protect himself.

he had some huge plays in the game.

It was a very dangerous throw by jefferson. Could have led to a serious injury, i don't blame him

Jesus Christ you are fricking retarded. Are you actually claiming that QB slides are the same thing as a reciever pussing out? QBs are coached to slide, receivers are coached to take the hit. Any way you spin it, Deangelo didn't do his job on that play.

It was one of the worst cases of alligator arms I've ever seen. But in his defense, if he had caught that ball, he wouldn't have been able to finish the game and he might not have been able to finish the season.

Then he should stay the frick at home, he has no business playing receiver in the SEC if this is the case.

Doubt the talk in the film room this week will be about congratulating DP on his decision to pull up Seriously, do some of you follow football at all?

A few weeks ago, when there was all the talk about hard hits in the NFL, Steve Young put the blame on quarterbacks for throwing balls like that in the first place. He said that Brett Favre is one of the worst offenders when it comes to getting his receiver's clocks cleaned, and Peyton Manning is one of the best when it comes to looking out for the safety of his receivers.

. Agree it was a bad throw by JJ that exposed DP
It wasn't a bad throw douchebag. Do you even watch the games? The defensive lineman hit JJ's wrist as he was throwing it, altering the ball. The announcers even made several comments about it and the replays were shown proving it. Some of you have such little knowledge of the games and the team it really should preclude you from even posting on here.

idk, he's looked pretty good in the SEC his last 2 games. I don't think we win yesterday without him
