Palmer was saying that an undefeated TCU/Boise or a one-loss Stanford or Wisconsin deserved a chance. WTF? Are those teams not SUBSTANTIALLY lower than LSU in both the BCS and Computer Score?

Because the last thing these guys want is an LSU v Auburn Championship.

Wisconsin is 12 in the computers, Stanford 5, TCU tied with us at 3, and Boise is 6

I guess bias against LSU not winning their conference

Remember when a 1 loss Alabama team was a realistic shot for the title game?

Stanford I could live with, they have an elite QB.

No way Wisconsin should get in over LSU because they ran up the score on Indiana.

1-loss Bama still had a shot to win the SEC, LSU doesn't

In all honesty without my purple and gold glasses on, I can't see that happening. THe pollsters will almost make sure that it doesn't See UGA from 07. If you don't win your conference title game, you don't play for the title. OU way back in 03 being the exception to the rule. Most of the instances about conference title games having bearing on final polls were instituted after such a thing. They also at least played in their title game even though they lost it.

We're LSU, of course they aren't going to mention. It's really upsetting how we continue to get no recognition when we hae now beaten four ranked teams, the most in the NCAA.

Watching the BCS show is a bit sickening.

Cuz that would have meant they won the SECCG. winning division/conference isn't a requirement but it certainly hurts. At this point Auburn has to lose out for LSU to have a shot....or for the camgate to explode in the following weeks

It is so stupid. Plenty of confrences don't have a championship game. So if they don't win theirs why do we have to win ours?

As it stands, we are not that far away from TCU/Boise. But the rest of the field is WAY back. We still have Arkansas on the schedule.
They keep talking about a 1-loss team overtaking them. No LSU love. Typical.

ETA to include: Wisc is ahead of us in both the Coaches and BCS polls but we're still ~.100 ahead of them in the BCS. The big 10's schedule is a JOKE!

Oregon ------.9753
Auburn ------.9687
TCU ----------.8966
Boise --------.8634
LSU ----------.8243
Stanford ----.7553
Wisconsin -.7258
Nebraska ---.7203

Anybody else in the country play 7 teams that were ranked in the Top 25?

I think the humans would vote LSU down to keep an Auburn/LSU matchup from happening...much like the voted LSU up in 2007.

If LSU dominates Ole Miss and Arky, and Auburn loses, then there is a remote chance, but I still doubt we'd pass TCU.

IF we dominate the next 2 games and AU drops to Al and SoCar, we should play Oregon.
Humans will rank us out of the Top 10 to frick us though.

What's really funny is the polls are trying to vote boise ahead of TCU, but their computer score is so low, there's almost no chance.
