I think he has to make some changes in the offseason, particularly with his offensive coaches, but I am willing to give him another year if he makes some changes.

I am talking to you Crowton.

Chavis was a great hire and the defense has played great all year long. The only game where they gave up a ton of yards was against Auburn but they still kept the game close enough to give us a chance to win. If that game was at LSU we would be undefeated right now.

We have no choice when it comes to Miles. His buy out is too much. But I think GC is gone at the end of the year.

there is not another headcoach out there i would rather want. seriously. the man is a winner, excellent game planner, tremendous recruiter, nothing but class, and most importantly.. his players go all out for him. they love him.

If I knew with 100 percent certainty we would get Jim Harbaugh or Gary Patterson then yes.

Record wise, yes. Performance wise, his 05 and 06 team were his best seasons in my opinion. A couple Hurricanes away from a possible Championship in 05. Got screwed at Auburn and mental mistakes at UF in 06 to keep us from playing for a championship that year.

Texas and USC were both really good in 2005. That would have been tough.

I would still prefer a coaching change if it were reasonably possible, because to me 1 game didn't switch my mind on how he's coached the team.

He's a good coach, but I just don't think he fits at LSU personally.

That said, he really coached a great game on Saturday, but unlike many others I don't change my mind on him solely because he decided to actually coach well for 1 half of football.

I love that we won, but people seem to forget how bad our offense was in the first half and how poorly the time management at the first half went down taking two timeouts into the locker room when were moving the ball at midfield with 10 seconds left.

Me neither....i base my opinion on his entire tenure.

I don't think it was a bad played/coached half....it was a defensive battle. Auburn, on the other hand, had some horrible playcalling....but it seems to me that some here think we should get 50,60, or 70 yard drives on every possession. That's just not going to happen.

Maximus stopped posting 5 days ago. Nuts4LSU hasn't been around. Haven't heard much from Lacour.

I am going to go out on a limb that all three will come back with a vengeance the moment any mistake is made.

I'll give Dallasgrowl credit. He hates Miles and isn't afraid to be bashing him and clinging to his viewpoint despite our success this season:

Stubborn Growl

Classless

If what Miles has accomplished so far while at LSU hasn't changed their minds than one win over bama isn't going to. And some of these guys predicted that LSU would never beat bama or UF as long as Miles was the head coach.

I honestly believe that if the man won another NC there would still be some on here that would want him gone.

Yes, either we get a new Head Coach or Miles cleans house and fixes the Offense like he did the Defense.

I'm happy with Miles. Quirks and all... I would like to see more offense, just like I'm sure he would. Maybe Crowton gets another job at the end of this year. Miles will find someone he can work with or promote Billy G. I'm sure that's why we went out to get Billy G. in the first place right?
