Honestly, people shouldn't change their mind based on one game.

I betcha the ULM game isn't the blowout some expect, the anti Miles sentiment returns. People are so wishy washy.

It won't be. Miles doesn't work that way. BUT, If they have the starters in the game in the 4th Q. I will be PISSED.

I think the game will be 33-17, or something like that and people will start grumbling. My mind hasn't changed on Miles, yet, and before becoming wishy washy will wait to see how the season finishes out.

I would like him gone. He did have a great game against Bama and the team played to its potential for the first time this season, IMO. I have believed that this team has played up to and down to the level of its opponent all season and I do not think this is acceptable regardless of the teams record. If he could get this team to play as well as it did this past week every game I would not ride him nearly as hard. He has got a long way to go.

As long as he's pulling of trick and 4th down plays I throughly enjoy his coaching. But to sit back and watch a struggling offense, with no imagination, he can give me the chorus of neck as sung by the student body.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings if he did not come back next season. One game (beating bama) does not make up for all the garbage he has produced on the field this year and last . Let us not forget we still have Nutt and Ar-Kansas at their house to go. And we all know how those games go. Lets just wait and see how this season finishes up. Because losing those games would make the Florida abd Bama wins pretty much for nothing.

Crowton on the other hand. i would have still fired his arse last year or after any of the games this year and would not think twice about it.

I laugh at some of you.I remember sitting in TS during Curley's reign of terror and longed for a coach that could beat the big dogs. I remember Florida smokin our arse 58-3. I have been going to TS since 79 and we have a coach that has a winning record against almost EVERYONE. This guy has the program in a better place that it has every been. Be careful what you wish for. His worst year was in 08. There are over 100 schools that wish they were in our shoes at the moment.

Ultimately, it would better for the program and the fans if he would go, for reasons stated far better than I could by other posters who have gone before me.

That said, it isn't going to happen and somehow we will just have to find a way to put up with him. If he gets rid of Crowton and brings on a QB, we could probably stomach a few more years of him until LSU can get out from under the weight of his overpriced contract, while still having some winning seasons.

But if people think that somehow just by beating Bama that the clusterfricks are going to end and magically he's going to be a better coach, they are going to be sorely disappointed.

I have only posted a few times and every one has been in defense of Miles; It is obvious that there are still many ranters who don't want to be confused with the facts and want Les gone regardless of ALL of the positives he brings to the program vs the very few negatives. I now see no point to these posts trying to win over the negatigers. They are still lurking waiting for the next loss or miscue to spew their venom. Hopefully Les and the team will continue to ignore these Negative "fans??" and continue to play with the heart and pride of the TIGERS!! I hope we win out but regardless I will always be proud to be a Tiger and Proud to have Les Miles as our Head Coach.

I have always stood by Miles. He's a great player's coach, he is loyal, a good man, and he loves LSU. Besides anyone who thinks he doesn't know football is an idiot. And he has one of the best winning percentages ever.

Didja know that Saban never lost fewer than 3 games at LSU except his NC year? Miles has had 1 3-loss year and 1 4-loss year, the rest were 1 or 2 losses. Having said that, his stupid antics has made LSU the laughingstock of CF--the butt of many jokes. For that reason, I want him outta here. He has embarrassed us. I'd like to see him gone, or at the very least, take speech lessons and get rid of Crowton.

To answer your question, yes- there are still plenty of idiots who seem to have forgotten what the objective is: Winning games.

How the frick is he an embarrassment? He has not had a losing season, he has had top 5 recruiting classes every year, a NC, 2 SECCG appearances, a BCS win, and we have not gone a single season without post season bowls.

I won't change my mind based on one half. Other than the most ardent Miles supporters, who here thought after going into halftime after a confused go for it/sit on it/go for it final offensive series and leaving 2 timeouts and the board, that we would see that second half offensive performance? How many times does JJ make that pass to RR? Anyone who thinks we will see that kind of passing performance from JJ again should reconsider his past performance. And don't forget, if J Lee isn't in the game to make that 3rd down completion to RR, we probably are headed to OT or worse. But...in case any so-called "positigers" want to pick on my analysis, please know that I really really enjoyed the win.
