My wife and I are driving over from Austin for the game this weekend and I'd like to shop around for some additions to my office. So where's the best place to get helmets or framed photos/posters for the least outrageous prices?

You're driving from Austin to watch LSU beat the crap out of a nothing SBC team that hasn't had a winning season in 17 years?
wow.
Hardcore.

We can only make one game a year and lots of things have to work out for us to both have a free weekend that we can also go out of town to. It was either this or go to LR for arky and I'd rather go to tiger stadium.
Next season, we're going to dallas and to knoxville tho
So do you have a suggestion or just a comment on my travel plans?

maybe not the best or the cheapest but Denicola's Tiger Den Gifts on Harrels Ferry might be the place your looking for.

If your just posting this so everyone knows you have a long drive so you can leave early, its not going to work. Leaving early is bull shite. And no Booing either!

Try any of the Tiger Manias (Highland at LSU Ave)

Or maybe Tiger District.

All price will be outrageous though,

We won't be driving back til sunday. And we've never left a game early. Not the vandy game in the rain last year, or the troy game in 08

Goodwood Hardware has tons of LSU stuff... I just don't know what they have. COOP Bookstore (on Burbank near LSU) has framed prints, etc.

My wife got me an autographed hester helmet off ebay for our anniv. I figured since we'd be in town I'd pick up some things without having to pay shipping.
I'd really like a vintage TS photo

Denicola's was an amazing store! If only I had more money... I was looking for some vintage TS shots and found a 1936 fonville of the shoe. And we got a billy cannon signed helmet.
Of course, we loaded up on the usual tshirts and hats and anything else we had to stock up on for the next year.

Also, I loved this picture when venicetiger posted it. I showed it to my wife, and we both said we should get it. The very next day, I go to a customer's house and her garage is full of paintings. I see one just like that, but its a dog instead of a cat, painting a german shepherd. I ask her if she has the cat and tiger, and she digs thru the stack and pulls one out. The artist is her brother, and she's his distributor, so she sold it to me out of her garage less than a mile from my house!
