Visiting friends in Austin, anyone from the area know some good sports bars?

Shoal Creek
Lavaca
Those are 2 that were recommended to me. We tried to go watch the LSU/ Florida game at Trifecta, but the owner wouldn't turn up the sound because Purdue was on and that game got priority. We could understand, but we took our $400 bar tab down the street to a place that actually had sound for the game. Trifecta would have been great minus the sound issue.

Lavaca Street and Shoal Creek are the two bars that show just the LSU game. All tv's and all sound. Shoal Creek is also a huge Saints bar.

Don't know any sports bar, but an LSU alum owns a fabulous restaurant - Frank. They have a killer Sunday brunch. You should check it out.
