Newton is bigger and stronger. No one really does.

Newton weighs about 25-30 lbs more than Mingo. Would be fun to watch a head on collision between Mingo and Newton but my money would be on Cam winning that battle.

The real battle I want to see is if Newton can run over Kelvin Sheppard. If he can truck Sheppard like he did that LB from Arky last week then all you can do is just

That was pretty embarrassing for the Arky LB.

it was an Arky DB not a LB.

Also, while heavier, I'd be willing to bet Mingo is physically stronger.

The only players that might be able to match his size are Drake Nevis and Michael Brockers.

Speed? Kelvin and Baker could probably hold their own in a footrace. Mingo probably could as well but he is a lot smaller than Newt.

Shep got overpowered at the goal line by a WR/ Wildcat QB. Now if both are running at full speed I like Sheps odds, but if Shep is fighting off a block or is flat footed, Newton will win.

I think it has to be a couple of different players throughout the game. Mingo, Shep, Baker...maybe one of the safeties. Probably best to mix it up. The spy does not necessarily need to be as physical as Newton. He just needs to be able to catch him and slow him down until help arrives.

Yep but not really because Newton really is a freak athlete. He is a rare athlete that doesn't come along very often in life, so if I was the LB I wouldn't feel to bad by being run over by a
6"6 255 lb battering ram.

Jordan Reed is 6-3 240lbs. Newton is 6-6 250lbs. Pretty reasonable comparison, but Shep can handle Newton. It isn't like Reed steamrolled him.

I like a scenario like this where everybody gets a lick. No where on the field is safe!

No, it was a LB. I just rewatched it last night.

Jerico Nelson.

Unfortunately, he's only 5'9, 195... so basically a DB.

Baker probably. I think he's a little faster than Sheppard.
