So is Ritter going to be our head official this weekend?

Ritter officiated the Bama game last year. Rumors were circulating earlier this week that he is going to preside over the LSU-AUburn game.
When does the SEC release officiating assigments? Does anyone know who the crew is going to be?

Dont think anyone knows.. We just know we DONT want Ritter. Thats why you have been hearing his name.

Hopefully it is neither old bug eyes or fricking Penn Wagers.
I hope either get mauled by a bus the next time they cross the street, especially Wagers.
He always has that little fricking smirk on his face when he knows he is gigging a visiting team.

Contrary to popular belief, Ritter was NOT the ref in '06 at what is lovingly called 'Grand Theft Auburn.' It was a ref called Roberson. I think he's not an umpire in some other conference.

Are you kidding, with his Alabama ties, I'm sure he hates Auburn, I hope he's officiating the game in some manner.

ed hochuli is known more for bein on roids than for bad officiating.

We know it will not be Penn Wages as he called Auburn game last week and Steve Shaw called the LSU and Flordia.
My guess is either bug eyes - Ritter or Matt Austin.
