Time and temperature phone number?

The place igrew up had number that you could call and it would tell you the weather conditions for the next few days.. Does everywhere have this?

I know Its not really needed anymore....because everyone has internet and stuff. But dammit it's part of my childhood just like Pluto.

Yep, I used to call it every morning during the winter to decide if I needed to wear long pants to school or not.

318-425-0211 Shreveport

I used to call that number when it was late at night so the phone would not ring and wake up my parents. Then would just wait for the call to beep in (call waiting).

re: Time and temperature phone number?

This thread is a good random reminder of growing up in the 90's.

I used to call it all the time to get the scores of the Atlanta Braves game when I couldn't watch them on TBS. I was a pretty big fan during their prime in the early 90's when I was a little leaguer. I used to mute the tv and pretend I was the play by play announcer. Damn, I haven't thought about that period of my youth in a long time!!
