Yes, I know the AP poll doesn't count, but I thought this was interesting.

16th? Come on.

Actually, looking at his poll, it's reasonable to think the teams ahead of us are really ahead of us.

15 teams with a better body of work than LSU? Highly doubtful.

Can't blame them, actually. Winning in the SEC is tough, and we all feel like we should be up there, but there just isn't any style points. We win ugly, and the polls are human. Our only hope is just keep winning.

While I do think that is silly, I do not agree with people that think if you win you should move up.

You shouldn't move down more than 1 or 2 spots, no matter how ugly your win was.

The guy probably doesn't follow the seemingly set rules that people expect from polling. The guy doesn't have to follow "body of work." For example, if someone like Boise State beats the shite out of cupcakes, and LSU barely scrapes by good teams, it could still be his opinion that Boise State is a better team, couldn't it? I know people don't expect to drop after a win, even after a win like LSU-Tenn, but my (and everyone else's) opinion of the team went down after that win, so doesn't it follow that we could drop?

How is it reasonable to rank ANY 1 loss team ahead of LSU, considering LSU's schedule thus far?

In September? You probably bitch about early season polls being unfair too.
