Go to Mr. P's for lunch (Bluff Park) also need to try the Tip Top Grill which is right there too. Iguana Grill on Lorna is great for cheap Mexican food and good scenery! There really aren't too many Hoover specific places to go. I grew up in Hoover so I should know........

"Hattiesburg is not to far."

What would a Bham area food thread be without a smart### comment from Andouille.

As for the OP, try:

La Dolce Vita - Very good Italian restaurant in shopping center across from where Riverchase CC use to be

FireBird's Grill (Patton Creek)

Ragtime Cafe (Riverchase area)- good lunch spot

The Fish Market - solid casual Greek seafood market with fresh seafood flown in daily. You get more food than you can eat for a very reasonable price.
