If we had even mildly competent quarterback play, this team could win the national championship THIS year. But we don’t. We have jordan jefferson, and everyone suffers because of it.

Ridley has to run through a wall.

the receivers, all of whom have first round talent, look like busts because they maybe get 3 touches a game.

Michigan and Nebraska have QBs with a fraction of Sheps talent all over espn, while he hopes to get a robotic, telegraphed handoff from jordan, where he stands there flat footed with his arm fully extended.

the defense plays knowing that everything is on them, that any mistake they make will cost us the game, because the offense isn’t gonna do a fricking thing, for the third year in a row. They know they won’t get any rest, and they'll be defending a short field, all day, again.

And Lee, who persevered that awful freshman year, who stood up and took all that abuse and never quit, who has done everything right since then, gets fricked over, again and again, just so jefferson can be given another chance.

its baffling. its enraging. its not fair. its not right. he dooms the team to more failure and embarrassment. They deserve better.

It's bigger than just JJ. The whole offense has been constrained to little kid shite since the middle of 2008, because the coaching staff are too big of pussies to go for the fricking big wins anymore.

it doesn't help when jj is on pace to be worse than reggie ball but les doesn't care. he hates rational thoughts

Some posters are still dogging Lee. I thought he played pretty well. Don't get me wrong I am not saying he is the savior but what are people expecting? I thought he was solid.

I was softening my stance on Les and his handling of the team secondary to recent posts on here, but I want to thank you for again showing me what I thought last week until LSU got lucky with one extra play.

Everything you said is pretty much dead on, though I thought you may have been a little harsh on Jefferson. The coaches pull the strings on this team, not the players. If a player is in, its b/c Les said so.

Are you sure you meant to say Michigan has a QB with much less talent than Shep--Denard Robinson has been outstanding, is a game breaker and is a strong Heisman Trophy contender. I don't think Michigan is nearly as good a team as LSU, but you cannot fault the Wolverines' coaching staff for failing to utilize Denard's many talents.

seriously bro give that shite up. There's a reason why your posting bullshite on this board downing players. you are an embarrassment to the LSU family. Stick to playing your created QB on NCAA Football 2011 dreaming of your chance to one day be QB of LSU. shite must give you a hard on. STFU. JJ might not be good this year but he helped us win the bowl game and a game last week. Spare me your bitch arse comments.

From that posting
quote:

Actually, I’d argue that not only should Jefferson not start, but that he shouldn’t play at all. After watching Jarrett Lee make the clutch throws that he did last week, how can anyone argue that the Tigers can gain anything with Jefferson under center?

I agree 100%

Yeah you're right, completing one more pass to your own team than you did to the other really helps your team, I like that logic. It makes total sense that Jefferson won that game and not Lee with his 2 minute drive while losing.

Right. And this isn't even including the fact that JJ completely blew it at the goal line

Against Penn State? Yeah he was awesome. He had 1 good play last week and even LSU radio show said it was a fluke. He has been playing terrible. LSU shouldn't play players based on what they did in a bowl game in 08.

LSU produces good receivers and D lineman. If you watch the NFL you should know that.

Florida was where we lost our mojo and our "Fighting Tigers" swagga. That year when we went into Florida confident, cocky , sure of our abilities we got 51 points hunged on us and it was all Les Miles fault.

The Co- Defense coordinator was expose for what it was and Mallory and Peveto showed why they are only assistant coaches. It began with miles by NOT doing the right thing on defense and went with the "friends" first. He single handedly broke our spirit and so any high level team we play now make the fanbase jittery. It was from that one single game , then GA went in and finished the jobs.
