What gives? Looks like 1000's of empty seats. Worse than an LSU game. I'm not a big Saints fan, but would surely think that the defending SB champs wouldn't have ANY empty seats.

I heard tix were going cheap on the tix exchange this week.

I couldnt make it so I have my tix to my wife and her sister.

I doubt there are as many empty seats as you're thinking, most people are just gettinf back to their seats from halftime about halfway through the 3rd quarter.

That's true. I work at North Oaks hospital in Hammond, and it was as if the entire hospital loaded up in that bus. Hell, they even let staff nurses wear Saints jerseys on Fridays.

The crowd definitely stepped up yesterday. The crowd noise on the last drive made it ridiculously hard for a rookie QB to operate. The real Saints fans were there and they were loud as hell.

i was at the game too, and the crowd was really loud. making carolina burn their timeouts prematurely may have won the game.

One of us is seeing things. There were a few empty seats here and there. But not "1000's". shite it was a beautiful day. Maybe some people took advantage of it.

Saw some scattered empty seats, less than 200 it looked to me. Tickets for the game were cheaper than they have been in a long time. Got two friends of mine tickets in 115 row mid 20's for under face value. Now they are spoiled. And yes as others said it was loud as hell a few times. The floors seemed to be shaking.

Carolina probably didn't look to be an exciting opponent, but from what the TV showed it looked packed to me.

nowhere near 1000 empty seats. Maybe at the kickoffs while people were in line for drinks but it filled in nicely.
I would guess 200-400 no-shows(maybe even less because some club people rarely sit in their seats anyway)

Well this is what pisses me off...there are 2 seats next to me that haven't had anyone in them for 4 years now!! I actually emailed my ticket agent for the Saints and asked if there was anything they/I could do. I told him theres no good explanation....the owner of them hasn't sold, donated, used since 2006 and there has to be something that can be done to put a butt in the seat...I mean even in a year like we had last year, EMPTY! Sad and pathetic! The guy that came in 2006 was cool and all, but they quit coming after that year....
