Drink LOTS OF WATER

I do not drink enough of this, because all day I am sipping on red bull. Once the swithc happens I believe this will change. I may drink one coke a week for the past 8 weeks.

I found my first post in this thread for you:

I read through the first few pages. A lot of good information so far. I will read more when I'm done with work.

Beside the health effects of red bull, I was given an incentive to give them up. The deal is I get $1.00/hr raise, but if I am seen with any energy drink I lose $1.50 at where I am currently at. I have until Monday to make that deal official. My wife is a little worried about it.

You'll feel like crap at first because you've become dependent upon them.. but DO IT! And don't drink them anymore. Energy drinks are so damn bad for you.

I went through some serious adversities when I started the diet. If I can do it, anyone can.

The horror......the horror.......

The day started off fine with a drop to an all time low of 161.7, but then things went pear shaped after that.

The competition is over. The chick at my office somehow dropped another 3 this week and her lead is now insurmountable. Even if I fasted for a week I couldn't catch her.

So knowing that I cracked at lunch and went downtown on the office free lunch which was chicken parm, veal parm and daube along with ham and roast beef poboys.

I'll probably gain about 4 tomorrow. Maybe even more because I have been alternating cadfasts to try to catch the chick at work so I am low on sodium, or I WAS low.

Between the real gain and the sodium gain, the scale might explode tomorrow.

Oh well, back to work. I refuse to quit until I hit 159 but that might take a week or two more than I was hoping for.

I went out and drank last night and had a burger. Shame on me. I met up with some prominent posters.

306/281/195 (31 days into my life style change)

Last couple of days have been good. Lost 2 more pounds and really getting in the grove of exercising at least 4 times a week, carbs under 40 and cals around 1500 per day. Going to start P90 this weekend.

I'm going to have to lose about 10 pounds between now and easter weekend. I know once I come home to BR for that week I will be filling my body full of seafood..

I can taste boiled crawfish and shrimp now!!!

280.8/255.8/195.0

Rebounded nicely this week after cheating my arse off last weekend. I know Saturday will be another cheat day, but hopefully I can keep it somewhat reasonable.

Also, hit the 25 lb mark today
I'm wearing a shirt I bought a year ago that never fit. Fits perfect now.

Hulk, do you seriously drink 128 oz (1 gal.) of water a day?

I'd feel like a freaking slushi all the time

I'm ususally good to go with 70-90... Not sure I could handle 128.

Yup.

Minimum. I carry a gallon jug with me. I start at about 6 AM and usually by 1:30 or so I'm finished with that. I could try for 2, but once i get that 1 gal out the way I normally like have a coke zero alter in the day.

isn't the idea with water though not getting a bunch in you at once but rather to keep a good flow through you all day ?

I drink a steady stream, upwards of 128.

Early in the diet, I used to dump tons of red pepper on my food to induce water drinking.

I've used 3 large containers of red pepper in 2 years and I do mean the LARGE jumbo bulk containers.
