If we were the best team in a shittiest BCS conference we'd be going to the Orange Bowl too

Looking at WVU schedule, if LSU had not taken care of business they probably would've run the table.

It'll be interesting to see what bowl takes LSU if the offense is still anemic by the end of the year.
Do they take teams based more on the likelihood of ratings etc., or how well the fan base travels and money they could make off of such?

WVU may well be favored to win all of their remaining games so it's not hard to figure the reasoning. LSU, on the other hand, will be an underdog in 4 of their remaining contests.

So, under their projections, Gumps No.1 in SEC and FL runnerup. Both get BCS bids. It is possible that LSU could win all thier other games and defeat FL but lose to the Gumps, and still not play in a BCS bowl game.

Nah, that'd get sorted out if Bama were to win- We'd be 11-1 to Fla's 10-3 or 11-2, and would have won the head to head. Sugar for us
