The powers that be proved that they would rather have control over the audio atmosphere than follow tradition when they decided that Tiger Rag should go away. Tiger Rag being the musical piece that most of the bands tradition was built on.
With that kind of track record, it is hard to place the blame solely on the behavior of students.

Your complaint is doing absolutely nothing. The students are going to do it anyway so either put up with it and complain or don't go to the games if it bothers you that much. It's that simple.

Hell, like a tenth of the student section stayed till the Band finished "Let us break bread together" and did the alma mater again.

The people leaving early is a bigger problem. All you people leaving early, frick you. Really. frick you. I hope you die on the way to your cars to free up your tickets for someone who may actually want to watch an LSU game.
I don't care about your excuses. Kids need to get to bed? frick you. You should have left those little shits at home. Can't find a babysitter? Give up your tickets 'til you can get your priorities straight. You're old and your oxygen tank is running out? I don't give a shite. You should give your life to support this team, or move over for someone who is willing to.
An empty stadium is more of an embarrassment than some rowdy kids.
