Last friday night I was at a local high school game when I noticed the rather large man behind me was wearing some type of large ring. When I looked closer it had a large M on it so I asked him about it. That's when he told me he was a defensive end for M State in 2007.
He noticed my LSU cap and quickly took a folded up photo out of his wallet which showed him sacking Flynn the night of that game. He then told me that his biggest memory of that game was the Lafell hit on their guy. He laughed his arse off about it.

I remember a buddy of mine commenting that he couldn't watch the replay of that hit! it was ferocious.

That guy(Zach Smith) was a Freshman in 2007.He is a senior this yr but has had problems with concussions(shocker).Thanks alot Lafell you messed up a perfectly good white boy.I hope your happy.

I honestly thought he killed him. I didn't think a neck could whip around like that and not break.

This!!!!!!!!!!!
Lafell even admitted in an interview to trying to walk away quickly because he thought he had done something wrong.
