Where can you get a free radio broadcast that can be delayed to match up better with Satellite viewing of the games so we do not have to listen to ESPN biased announcers anymore?

That is a hell of an idea. If I could do that, I would.

870 is the earliest broadcast I think. 98.1 and also 105.3 were later. 870 was about 1 second behind DTV. I rather the radio be a second late than a second early, so the radio doesn't spoil watching it.

Well if you are running a computer with Windows Media Center and a Tuner card (that also has a radio tuner). You can set the delay yourself.

It works basically like DVR where you are listening a few seconds behind instead of watching.

ETA: BTW, if you want to do this, you need to make sure you have a solid internet connection. Need to have a solid "buffer" similar to watching videos on the internet.

98.1 was about 8 to 10 seconds ahead of DTV.

I had XM radio last year and it was always about 7 seconds behind the TV. I paused the TV that short amount of time so it was synced with the XM radio feed. Worked pretty well.

Hate to say it, but Hawthorne and co. are better than Herm Edwards and co. on ESPNU.

I'd listen to fingernails on the chalkboard for 3+ hours before I'll listen to Hawthorne. YMMV.
