Saints released RB DeShawn Wynn.
The move proves that the Saints see Wynn as more of a special teamer and Betts as more of a ball carrier. It could also be a sign that Chris Ivory (knee) is closer than previously reported to returning. Betts is now Pierre Thomas' backup for this week's game against the Falcons.

Okay, so they signed Betts, who they dropped in favor of Wynn, which means they're down to their 5th option?

Could LJ be coming?

it says that, but it'd still be rushing him back, idk...PT and then Betts who hasn't played in how long or Ivory who hasn't been practicing coming back from Injury?... something seems fishy to me

Saints RB Chris Ivory (sprained MCL) is expected to resume practicing "soon," according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
It's not expected to be this week, but Ivory could at least get in some practice time in preparation for a Week 4 return.

Hey, man. Can I vent for a second? I cannot believe all these Vick posts. Last time I checked, the guy is a convicted felon who was a marginal fantasy QB in the hey day of his career, not Jesus Christ.

I think we need to petition Chicken to ban Vick posts because they are taking up the whole board. Also, anyone who is considering sitting Peyton, Brees, or Rogers for Vick should be banned. That is a person I don't want advice from.

Okay. That's it.

I understand, and agree somewhat, but what I use these type posts for is to gauge the opinion of others. I wouldn't have considered Foster a top-3 RB after his week 1 performance but others were saying that they'd trade Chris Johnson for him.

It helps to see how the bottom half thinks. You could have easily grabbed Vick and seemed to have traded him for Romo/Rivers with many people. I wouldn't have thought about offending anyone with that trade request, but apparently it wouldn't be out of line

Use them for perspective, not judgement

Uh,Oh

Vikings coach Brad Childress revealed Wednesday that Percy Harvin was not at practice due to a recurrence of his migraines.
Harvin's hip injury is just a blip on the radar screen. The Vikings believed they could prevent further migraines after diagnosing them as a byproduct of sleep apnea during the preseason. Apparently, they were wrong. Harvin almost certainly won't play in Week 3, and it's possible he could be shut down for multiple weeks if the latest migraine is severe.

Maybe with some of the posters on this board, but no one in my league is that stupid.

it's like having the newest i-Phone or other "hot new thang"...people want to convince others of their "superior management Skillz" by "rollin wit my Man Vick" and getting Haters Jealous of them having such a "Vick-o-licious" team. So they'll hock their 10 year old Rolex, for something that will be out of date in just a couple months.

Jerome Harrison missed Browns practice Wednesday with a thigh injury.
The extent is unknown, but Harrison won't be a fantasy option against the Ravens in Week 3 anyway. The Browns may have to lean heavily on Peyton Hillis.

Maurice Jones-Drew was limited in Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury.
Perhaps the ankle injury sheds some light on Jones-Drew's limited role in Week 2, as he lost late-game carries to Rashad Jennings. The Jags were also getting blown out, of course, but this is a situation to monitor. Through two games, he has a 3.7 yards-per-carry average, no TDs, and a fumble lost.

Ryan Mathews (ankle) missed Chargers practice Wednesday.
Coach Norv Turner indicated earlier this week that Mathews would be good to go against the Seahawks, but it may not be a lock. Owners should make sure to secure either Mike Tolbert or Darren Sproles as a fall-back option

Joseph Addai missed Colts practice Wednesday with a knee injury.
The extent is unknown, but this is Addai's first missed practice of the season. He had arthroscopic knee surgery during the 2009 offseason. Owners should be clinging tight to Donald Brown, who's coming off one of the better games of his career. The 2009 first-round pick accounted for 88 yards and a score on 17 touches against the Giants. The Colts visit the Broncos in Week 3.

Browns WR Brian Robiskie came up lame with a hamstring injury at Wednesday's practice, and didn't finish the workout.
Robiskie has just two catches for 18 yards so far on the year. If he doesn't play against Baltimore, Josh Cribbs could get the start at flanker.

better news for Ret yard leagues as it looks as tho Cribbs will be in alot more
