Chargers signed RB Curtis Brinkley from the practice squad.
Brinkley will add depth at RB with Ryan Mathews sidelined.

ummmm, looks like Matthews could be more injured than they're letting on.

Couple items from #Lions: Best said he thinks he has "sprained ligaments" in right big toe, "totally new" not related to inj report last wk

quote:

Jahvid Best is reportedly concerned that he has sprained ligaments in his right big toe.
Best could put no weight on his foot after Sunday's loss. The Lions don't comment publicly on injuries, so it'll be hard to get any timetables out of GM Martin Mayhew and coach Jim Schwartz. Nothing has been confirmed, but sprained ligaments in the toe sound like a turf-toe sort of problem. The Lions visit Green Bay in Week 4. We wouldn't count on Best playing.

Updating a previous item, Jahvid Best has reportedly been diagnosed with a Grade 2 case of turf toe.
ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms an NFL Network report that Best is "day to day." According to Schefter, Best plans to play at Green Bay in Week 4, "unless pain is unbearable." Though the injury isn't expected to be long term, turf toe has a tendency to linger and can be aggravated. Owners will want to keep close tabs on Best's practice reports before using him as an RB1/2

That's good news. Was hoping they'd keep him out for a week then unleash him against STL in WK 5

Thanks for the update!

Steve Breaston is out for at least "the next couple of games" after having a torn meniscus in his knee repaired on Tuesday.

start who-ever playing ARZ pretty much the rest of the year

quote:

Stephen Williams is the probable favorite to take over as the Cardinals' starting flanker with Steve Breaston (knee surgery) and Early Doucet (sports hernia surgery) out for the foreseeable future.
A training camp star, Williams made numerous mental errors while seeing six targets in Week 2, before playing a reduced role (two targets) in Arizona's Week 3 win over Oakland. The Cards need him now, though, and he's got the talent to capitalize. Williams is a strong bet to start at San Diego and against New Orleans in Weeks 4 and 5. He's worth grabbing in all leagues, though the undrafted rookie's inexperience and Derek Anderson's inability to consistently complete passes will make Williams a highly risky fantasy bet.

i dunno about "worth grabbing" and that's coming from a 14 man league

not that complex man

the-25-must-follow-twitter-accounts-for-the-nfl

I just click #25,#24,#23,#19

these 4 sources are pretty much all that I'll post

Have the page saved, when I get a chance, I click the 4 they each open, and I read any updates.

That's all, and it's free. Paying is cheating

I have twitter... although I forgot my password so I do not know how to access it. I also do not know the password I used to create it through e-mail.

you don't have to be logged in to look at their posts, I don't think. Or you could always just create a new account.

eta: or just rely on Kash's updates (thanks Kash!!)
