Everyone on here as well as most of my buddies talked about how bad jj was and clm was terrible. JJ looked pretty good and les cost us 15 seconds at end of half but the coaches are on the SIDELINE. They dont fumble and run into kickers and hold on td runs. The team was ready to play and we won!! Everything bad that could happen did and we still won. How do you negative people even enjoy lsu football.

People are pointing out areas of concern or things that need improvement. No body is blaming the entire debacle on just a few plays. It's the combination of so many mistakes.

I think most rational prople realize that the "taking the foot off the pedal" was miles's fault. That rests solely on his shoulders imo. As for jj...he didnt look terrible, but 2 intentional grounding penalties killed us..especially the last one that took us out of fgrange. That wouldve solidified the win.

this coaching staff lacks the ability of putting our players in a position where they can reach their full potential.

You have to look at the whole body of work man.

Last night, we showed signs of brilliance (how familiar does that sound from 08 and 09?) but ONCE AGAIN, we just couldn't put it together and PUT UNC AWAY.

You don't have the talent we have and go down to the wire almost every game. That, sir is on coaching. And this team is completely undisciplined. Disciplined teams don't fall apart like we did last night.

To set the record straight JJ did not look great. He looked like he did last year.

Because these things will continue to happen, as they have for 5 years, and we won't win. That's the point.

Actually it's quite the opposite. UNC had 7 defensive starters suspended as well as their top 2 running backs and top WR. It STILL took UNC dropping 3 touchdown passes for LSU to hold on.

Who put those players in the game? Who taught those players how to hold the football, dive to block a punt, and/or block? You want to be the man, run the show, and get paid 4 million dollars? You are responsible for the product on the field. That product was complete shite and barely beat UNC's JV team.

Win what!! there's no playoff's, it's a beauty contest. The SEC we're right where we want to be hopefully improveing.

Mistakes did us in last night and even though NC lost a lot of players they do have some great talent and a four year starter at quarterback.

I understand the frustration of looking bad at times but we're still winning and that's because of Miles recruiting. The great players did not arrive at LSU by some other coach. Give this season sometime and lets see what the end product turns out to be.

I believe we will be surprised by the end of the year. JJ didn't play great but he stepped up in the pocket and avoided sacks and I believe the offensive line over all opened some holes. The biggest problem was our turnovers and dumb ruffing the punter, otherwise this would have been a roit.

Then why do any coaches get fired. If the team's play on the field, whether it is good or bad, is exclusively the result of the players, why do coaches get fired. For that matter, why do they get hired or receive raises...they didn't do anything. It was just the players who played the game.

Not to mention that we got 9 points because the center and QB couldn't exchange the snap properly.

So let me get this straight, you want to fire the special teams coach? The one area of strength that has remained a strength for the Tigers every year. One excited kid took a bad angle on a punt block, one that he should have gotten too, and you want to fire who? The head coach What is wrong with you?

If you don't realize how that is completely les's fault, you're an idiot.

the roughing the kicker was pretty huge at that point in the game, UNC was totally deflated...

One excited kid? One? What about the other excited kids who've been dropping crucial passes the last few years, or the one excited kid who fumbled twice last night (once while running the clock out), or the other excited kid who fumbled last night, or the excited kids who ran 5 yard routes when we needed 6 or 7. Last night was a microcosm of Les Miles tenure at LSU. Not bashing the kids, bashing the coaches. There is no discipline on this team from the coaching staff down. I won't even address the failures to make adjustments, another staple of Miles' tenure, and a clear coaching gaffe that you can't blame on the kids.
