Lots of people still play, but I think most have migrated to Counter Strike: Source.

played since 1.5... got into CS:S pretty hard.

12 years running and CS is still one of the top multiplayer FPS games. easily one of the best of all time

Sounds like they still do. I'm sure my older version from 2000 won't work with any though. I might get the new CS: Source and start playing again.

yes there are still a shitload of servers up. tons of people still play.
they recently updated though to incorporate the mac gamer (
) and it fricked up a lot of peoples game play. They might have fixed it since then though...

is it possible to play without everyone cheating? i still played up to 2005. Havent played since and not sure if they still on source or what.

CAL died, so mainstream CS basically died with it.
