What if Chicago lands Dirk, Amare, and Joe Johson that'll make a hell of a matchup in the east. Things can get very interesting what y'all think?

IMO the big 3 would be James, Wade, and Nowitzki...

With how James and Wade love to drive they would need a player that can get out of the middle and still be a threat. With Bosh, James, and Wade if Wade is off they could be in trouble shooting wise....and with the other two players bieng scrubs most likely the zone could play fits with them,

Chalmers is a good perimeter player. Plus, having people who can't hit open jumpshots consistently didn't hurt the Lakers ultimately.

Players like Dirk and Paul Pierce are in a good situation right now. Teams are gonna spend and probably overspend a good bit, meaning you might see some all-stars in their 30s making a pretty coin.

They can't afford that can they. I thought they could only get two max players to pair up with D. Rose?

D Rose
J Johnson
Dirk
Amare S.
J. Noah

vs.

scrub
Wade
LeBron
Bosh
scrub

Hmmmm, with Deng coming off the bench, I could see evenly matched teams perhaps.

New York is the only team in the NBA that can afford 2 max players...the Bulls could afford 1 and then pay another around 13 mil...which isn't shabby....

quote:

• Chicago Bulls, $29.9 million. They can sign one max player with room left to offer $13 million to another star. Unless they're able to manage a sign-and-trade, they're looking at James and Boozer as their biggest score -- and what a huge score that would be. Knicks forward David Lee could be a strong secondary option.
