nope Directv does not have CST. Our only hope is Fox Sports picking it up or ESPN3 picking it up so we can watch on the computer.

The only shot "we" have is if FoxSports, SunShine or one of the other nets picks it up.. sighs..

heres the email response

quote:

Dear Mr. XXXXX,

Thanks for writing. I see that you have been a loyal DIRECTV customer for many
years. We truly appreciate your business with us.

I understand how important baseball is for your. We don't carry Cox Sports
Network or any sports channel that carries LSU baseball right now and we don't
currently have plans to add it to our lineup.

While we are unable to comment on upcoming programming decisions, we are always
reviewing our programming options to make sure we bring you the best possible TV
experience.

We value your opinions about our programming, so I have forwarded your request
to DIRECTV management, who review every suggestion, inquiry and complaint for
trends from our most important customers to determine what changes should be
considered.

Thanks again for writing and for the opportunity to address your concern.

Sincerely,

Kevin E.

Without a significant mutiny, DTV will keep up the sorry excuses and try to hang on to us with free this and that because it's cheaper than giving us what we want.

I admit, there's no other excuse except I'm too lazy to go through a wholesale change with a dish at home, camp and one for the road.
So yours and my empty threats don't mean anything to them.

uhh the anger directed at DTV is unwarranted. If CST wasn't asking a outrageous fee to be carried than it would already be on the bird

I think Cox has done the same with Charter on NOLA northshore. Still no Hornets over there, 10 miles away from the city, it's fricking criminal IMHO

Just curious, so did DISH pay the fee to carry CST?

DISH is really a minor player compared to DTV but yes they pay the fee, not sure if it's what was asked by Cox or not. A lot of the fee is based on # of subscribers. From my understanding, Cox has asked for higher fees than other regional sports channels around the country, which IMO is total BS
