Does anyone have a suggestion for a good place for Sunday brunch? We often go to the Chimes and like it very much, but we are celebrating our daughter's birthday this weekend and are looking for other suggestions. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I like Parrain's on Perkins. Bar/outside area is best IMO. Went to Mason's on Old Jefferson for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was pretty solid as well. Very crowded and loud, but the food was good (just be patient). Depends on what kind of atmosphere you're looking for. I'd say the crowd is younger at Parrain's, and if you like sitting outside then do that.

Another Broken Egg on Old Hammond. Helluva a menu, great food prep and fine service.Call ahead to get your party on the wait list and you can walk right in w/o a wait.

I don't like the crowd, the food is overpriced and it isn't that good.
