It sucks that he chose Stanford over LSU.

Kiper also has TT as the 5th best WR in next year's draft class.

Wasn't that what Clausen was rated this year?

Would you have traded Clausen for Lee and Jefferson?

If he would have chosen LSU, do you honestly think he'd be ranked as highly as he is now? Harbaugh > than Gary Crowton..

Honestly he'd probably still be waiting on the bench behind JJ, since Miles loves to favor upperclassmen. Dude definitely made the right choice going to Stanford.

Luck and JJ both were in the 2008 signing class.

Come back when you have a clue. Or puberty. Which ever happens first.

Yes, you make it sound like Harbaugh was showcasing this kids talents every chance he got. I seem to remember he spent a majority of his time last year turning around and handing the ball off to Gerhardt. Quit looking for any reason to bash a coach.

Not a bad game plan.

He wanted to be an engineer as is his grandfather. LSU does not want football players that want to major in engineering as they have to many afternoon labs. The LSU coaches discourage recruits from studying engineering and if the potential recruit wants to major in engineering, they are no longer interested.

Since he was adament in studying engineering, you know the rest of the story.

Not for him, considering the coaching he got at Stanford vs. what he would have received from our QB Guru!

this is a huge oversimplification

if that was the case, he would have gone to A&M (PETE), Georgia Tech (ME), LSU (ChE), etc.

i have not done the research, but i dont remember hearing about Stanford being an elite engineering school
