What is so NOT good about it? There's nothing in that article that alarms me.

Do you really think that having 102,000 people vs. 95,000 people is going to decide the difference between a W or an L on the road?

LSU needs to worry about keeping the stadium half full by the 3rd quarter before they worry about expansion.

Why? All LSU cares about is the tickets being sold

Then fight the power and not purchase any tickets. Better yet, denounce your fandom altogether. Yeah, that'll show them.

This is not good because those Gumps will have a bigger stadium than we do. They can tell recruits they have the largest stadium in the nation.

How about we fix the ins and outs of the stadium before we go talking about south endzone expansion.

Please.

This has been needed for a while

There are so many inaccuracies in that column. The Reveille should have noted the correct information with each of Ronnie's inaccurate statements. It's sad because Ronnie is the assistant director of facilities and doesn't know what the seating capacity of the stadium when he played, the year the original west upper deck was installed and the fact that the old press box remained through the 2004 season with the new one opening with the new west upper deck.

Yeah, 100,000 Bama fans in one place scares me too.

Bryant - Denny could hold 200,000 and it still wouldn't be as loud as Tiger Stadium and others. And don't go giving me it's one of the loudest, because that's bullshite. I've been in Legion Field, Bryant Denny when it was 60,000, Bryant Denny when it was 70,000, 80,000, and 90,000 and it is NOT one of the loudest. It is and will be one of the TOP stadiums in the nation, look wise....but GUMPS just don't make alotta noise. And...their student section is lame....only noise you hear coming from them is the breeze of the waving crimson shakers.

If the powers that be would do something to spruce Tiger Stadium up....clean it up.......do something with the pedestrian plaza that has been talked about for freakin 10 years, then Tiger Stadium, with a 93,000 seating capacity would be better than any. Seems like they like to talk and not walk the walk in the LSU Adm. Time will tell....
