not really much better than what i normally get, 8 piece spicy, dark meat. No sides or drinks. Was usually about $7 from what i remember.

I think they raised their prices recently to 8 pieces for $9.99 so $4 is quite a drop

I went at 11:15, not much of a line, but it was building as I left. What makes it such a good deal is that it is 8 pieces mixed, so you get 2 of everything. I think the regular family price is 9 piece dark with no sides for $7.99. The only prob today for me was that they said it was a 15 minute wait for spicy so I had to get mild.

The g/f picked up a box of spicy around 11am at the Harahan location, not one car in line...
Although they said they weren't serving any strips, nuggets, or other stuff...good plan with the rush that was expected today...

Most of the Popeye's here in Houston have a .99 cent deal every Tuesday for a leg and a thigh. I'm sure if you were roll up on Tuesday and ask for 4 .99 cent specials, you could get a Popeye's feast once a week.
