or Spain could do what they usually do and not get out of their group.

Watch out for those African countries this year, I think they could do some serious damage past the group phase.

I see the USA scoring 5 goals per game and not allowing any goals the entire tournament.

Ghana is much better than the US and I picked them to lose to Spain so I don't know where you get that from.

Dream scenario for USA. I would love a shot at revenge for '06 while simultaneously dodging the Germans

it would be a bigger shock to me having Spain win this...Spains all about winning the under 18's and shitting the bed when they come up against the big dogs...

This is a different Spanish team. They won every game at The 2008 Euro's. One draw with Italy in the quarterfinals and advanced on PK's. That is pretty impressive.

this will be the year that spain shows all the haters. this is such a different team than years past. if you would be shocked if they do win it just because of the past, then you must not be watching spain to closely or at all

I'm not sold on Maradona at all and not even with Messi outside of the Barca system and soft play in La Liga.

If Essien, Appiah, and Muntari are healthy they would shred our midfield apart.
