Took the time on a slow day at work today to sort out my predictions for the WC and here's how I have it playing out:

Watch out for those African countries this year, I think they could do some serious damage past the group phase.

Ghana is much better than the US and I picked them to lose to Spain so I don't know where you get that from.

although, i would much rather the usa coming out and dominating everyone and shocking the world

it would be a bigger shock to me having Spain win this...Spains all about winning the under 18's and shitting the bed when they come up against the big dogs...

This is a different Spanish team. They won every game at The 2008 Euro's. One draw with Italy in the quarterfinals and advanced on PK's. That is pretty impressive.

this will be the year that spain shows all the haters. this is such a different team than years past. if you would be shocked if they do win it just because of the past, then you must not be watching spain to closely or at all

I'm not sold on Maradona at all and not even with Messi outside of the Barca system and soft play in La Liga.
