Could he be yet another former ISU player that tears it up at another school?

That was nice but I don't know why the announcers were going crazy over him dunking on a dude 10 inches shorter than him.

looks like we'd have him for 2 yrs, just in time for our 2012 title run!

We don't have anything yet........if he's true to what he said.....Cal is the logical choice here.

LSU is not closer to home (Utah)

Love to have him though.......

Only 6 points a game? Don't see why we'd be going crazy over him other than his size.

Hopefully you are joking with that comment.

I would love to have this guy.

The more I read about it, it's a wired situation. He's from Utah and says he wants to leave Iowa State to be closer to home. So he's considering LSU , Cal and Virginia. WTF? The guy started every game his sophomore year and Cal and Virginia are good programs. I'd be shocked if we got him, but would be happy. It's not every day a 7-footer with major college experience comes along.

BYU fans seem to think he lied to Iowa State coaches about wanting to be closer to home to get his release, which he now has. They are mad he is not considering BYU.

He's from Utah, but not Morman. Utah is probably the last place he wants to live. I bet he's glad he got out.

Do you really believe Spencer wouldn't be back?

Many rumors that he could be an academic casualty. He's already in the bad graces of Trnt Johnson.

I have heard that Chris Bass is basically a walk-on that has been using unfilled scholarships. There is a rumor that Trent Johnson told Bass that he could be on scholarship until his slot was needed, then his brother Brandon could pick up the tab. Chris went to a pricey prep school paid for by Brandon that costs more than LSU. They can afford it.
