Does Microsoft have the ring of death issues fixed yet?

I bought the 360 elite in 07 got the red ring in late 08 and just sent it in again today. Anyone know if they got all the kinks worked out yet? Thanks.

I hope so. I just sent mine back. Thankfully it was still under the three year guarantee.

I just received a refurb and it works great so far. Took less than 10 days after the defective was sent.

i got one of the first with hdmi and haven't had a problem..i'm guessing i've had it over 3 years now
