Before watching this movie, I honestly never knew anything about football firms. This is why I liked the movie, but I have one problem with it. Could Elijah Wood have been any more of a queer in this film? I feel like the movie would have been ten times better if anyone other than him was cast in that role.

I also don't understand why the movie even uses the word hooligan in the title. Is the word even said in the movie?

Your links broke, bruh

I understand hooliganism is just another way to describe a firm, but why name the movie that if the word hooligan is never mentioned?

Because they are Soccer Hooligans. Thats what soccer fans that start fights because of games and against rival fans are called.

The word "Scarface" is never uttered in Scarface

Football hooligans won't refer to themselves as hooligans. But it's ideal for the film to be titled that, so that it immediately lets people know what the film will involve.

I guess this is why I disagree with the title of the movie. These guys fricking hate journalists, football being called soccer, and people calling them hooligans.

I just don't think its a good title

I think that was the purpose of the role. To find a weak guy that everyone walks all over and teach him how to stand up for his self and become somewhat of a man. He played that role perfectly. That is the way you need to look at it.

After he got hit that first time he started swinging like a bitch, then after a couple of fights he got the hang of it. Fighting is not a hard concept.

Like he says, once you realized you are not made out of glass, it all opens up. Confidence and experience are HUGE in fighting.

The movie isn't about the person Elijah Wood, he is playing a character in a movie.

It was a pretty good flick, which is why I chose to watch GSH 2. Bad mistake...terrible.
