Counting the likes of Mack Brown and Peveto, is LSU one of the leading schools of former coaches becoming head coaches?

Well you have Haywood, Peveto, Brown, Dooley, Fisher... am I missing anyone? If you want to count Saban that's another.

Bill Peterson, an assistant under Paul Dietzel at LSU, became head coach for 11 seasons at Florida State (Bobby Bowden was one of Peterson's assistants at FSU).

A few more come to mind:

Jerry Stovall
Nelson Stokley
Larry Jones (followed Peterson at FSU).
Bill Beall - short, unsuccessful hc stint at Baylor.
