Most on here were predicting a 3 or 4 loss season, so why is everyone crying over how we finished?

Les uses 'want' too much and has a hard time speaking to the media. People here hate that, they'd rather he look directly into the camera and use 'process' instead. etc, etc

It's not the fact that we lost the games. It's how we lost some of them and how we played in some of the ones we won.

MOST is not accurate. Preseason polls had LSU as a top 10 team. Top ten teams do not have 3 or 4 losses.

He's talking about the people on here who had us at 3-4 losses I think. Not the media

I'm not referring to the polls. People on this board were picking LSU to lose 3 or 4 games.

I did watch all the games. If you predict 3 or 4 losses, wouldn't you expect some shitty play and mistakes?

But before the season the 3 losses most people were predicting were to Alabama, Florida, and Ole Miss, but Ole Miss wasn't as good as they had been picked pre season. And it's also the fact that many of the SEC games could have gone both ways

It's because of the horrible clock management in 2 of the 4 losses.

To Florida by 10 points. You were expecting a closer game?
To Alabama by 9 points. See above.
To Ole Miss by 2 Points. Hard to get closer.
To PSU by 2 points.

Four losses by an average of 5.75 points. That's less than a touchdown average. Seems like we were in most of them. No big blow outs.

Washington by 8
Vandy by 14
ULALA by 28
MooU by 4
Georgia by 7
Auburn by 21
Tulane by 42
LaTech by 8
ArKANSAS by 3

Average margin of victory 15 points That's over 2 touchdowns. I suppose you want a 40 point victory in every game? Get real.

But it's just soooo fashionable to bash Miles, so be one of the crowd.

this is the standard, PROTOTYPICAL, Miles-lover question/response. forget the lack of organization. forget the player development. forget the embarassing coaching "mistakes". forget the lack of discipline. "hey, they said LSU would lose 3-4 games and they were right. everything is GREAT and i'm so happy we have a great coach!!!!! (said with extreme giddyness and without a worry in the world)"
some people just don't look at the overall picture and it freakin baffles me!

It's not the fact we lost 4 games because like you said, it was predicted by many. It's just the way we played for the majority of the year and the way he called/coached in some of those games. Just seems when you pay someone 4mill+, the fans expect him to be prepared....since he "enjoys preparing for quality opponents"!!

when LSU becomes what all "negatigers" (including myself) are predicting based by simply opening our freaking eyes and Miles is finally fired for losing 6+ games, some of the "positigers" will be blaming it on the fans for being "too mean" and not supporting him. no matter how bad it gets, these morons will say "one more year. this player was too young and that player was injured". they just refuse to look at coaching.

Would you like to ignore the fact that the SEC was extremely down this year? Outside of UF and Bama, the entire conference was mediocre. UGA ended up 7-5 in the regular season and they were supposed to be a contender in the East. USCe sucked. Vandy went from bowl team to 2 win team.

MSU pushed us to the brink, Auburn 7-5, Ole Miss was overrated as expected and is at best a #22-25 team and BETTER than LSU despite sucking this year.

UW was better, but otherwise, the schedule was weaker than anyone could've anticipated.

Because
1) Nobody predicted our offense to be one of the worst in the nation.

2) The difference between 2 losses and 4 losses is Miles piss poor clock management and Crowtons inability to run a 2 min drill offense.

3) DID YOU WATCH THE OLE PISS GAME??? DID YOU WATCH THE PENN STATE GAME????
