Maybe this has been asked, so if so, I apologize for the new thread. But does it scare any of you in any way having the media basically be ALL OVER the bandwagon right now? I think literally everything I have read or heard has the Cowboys penciled in the Super Bowl. I understand, as they are a hot team right now.

But as a Saints fan, I honestly think any of the 6 NFC teams are capable of going to Miami, so it's not like Dallas is head and shoulders above the rest.

And to be perfectly honest, I just cannot believe in Wade Phillips. We may have lost 3 in a row, but I'll take Sean Payton over that guy any day of the week.

Everything scares me. But I think the players know philly will be a different team on saturday. They were saying as much last night on the post game. And I don't listen to the media much. I only trust what's said on tigerdroppings.

As for Wade vs. Peyton, Wade is a better D Coord.....and thats all he is in Dallas. Jason Garret has total control of the Offense. Peyton probably is a better head coach.

The media has no impact, but as a Dallas fan (particularly recently), EVERYTHING scares me

The only thing hot about the Cowboys are their cheerleaders. They will choke before the Super Bowl.

Try being a Saints fan, buddy. I actually think that the NFC title game is a rematch of Dallas vs New Orleans.

I believe Dallas will beat Philly in a very close game Saturday, with GB topping AZ.

As for the AFC- who the hell knows. I guess I'll go with SD vs Indy in the AFC title game.

This game Saturday maybe a game of survival. If the Boys lose the Clowns will get a new leader and possibly there could be a new coach. I am still not sure what Jerry meant by his ratify statement 2 weeks ago.

Yeah, I was wondering what it would take for Phillips to save his job. Obviously one and done would probably get him fired.

He seems like a genuinely nice man, and certainly knows his defense. But he's the only other coach other than Miles to always have this dumbfounded look on his face.

If he did get canned, do you think Garrett gets promoted?

I think the new coach of the Cowboys is Jim Harbaugh. Or atleast that is my hope.

Garrett is as good as gone after Wade Leaves, again maybe some wishful thinking though.

Hmm. Very interesting. I assumed it would be Shanahan, but it looks like Richie Rich is going to lock him up. Harbaugh is a rising star, and will most certainly be commanding an NFL team in the next few years.

Yeah it does concern me. I've learned to never get comfortable with any win. I'm very nervous about this game.

that's the thing about the media and the cowboys. They'll pile on them when they're down and totally fall in love with them when they're up.
