I very seldom see much talk about LB's. What does our future hold at LB and, with incredible talent in state next year, are there any "got to get" LB's?

Charles Butler and Beau Fitte are two LB prospects from LA in the 2011 class. Chavis has placed an emphasis on better linebacker play, and it should continue to improve.

ETA: I'm really anxious to see Minter.

Glad to hear that. We've had decent play recently but, overall, the talent level has declined over the last few years.

Unless someone emerges in state we will put alot of our hopes on Anthony Wallace,Trevon Randle and Kendall Thompson all from Texas. There's a good on e here in the Richmond area named Curtis Grant. He's a stud.I had a conversation with one of his coaches and he seems to be open.I told him to put the good word in about LSU.

None of the LB film I have watched has been "blow you away" great. Solid players, but we will need to go out of state to get a stud in this class.

Apparently moved to DE pretty early on. He won't play next year IMO. He has to put on a lot of weight.

I think Fitte will be part of this class, or he has a very good chance. He's only 5'11", but fits the Chavis LB mold. I like him a lot in the Harry Coleman role.

I think Mingo is still a LB. He has too skinny of a lower body to ever be a fulltime DE IMO.

NFL football, Saints and Colts.

Also, too much negativity for my liking with LSU. Thank god for Frank though!

By the way, check out my posts in your threads about 2011 rankings. You did an awesome job, but check out my rankings! Would be curious as to your thoughts on them.

We definitely have the bodies at LB, we just need guys to step up next year.

Both Blue and Ware have the potential to move to LB if RB doesn't work out for them.
