Just moved and my cable won't be hooked up until the 19th. What's a good TV series I could rent on DVD in the meantime?

Already seen Lost and love it. I didn't start watching it on TV until the Third season. I was MIA for like a week when I rented the first two.

Many of the ones mentioned, but I'd also add Brotherhood from Showtime. Also Deadwood from HBO.

I'd argue that Arrested Development is the best comedy TV series of all-time. The writing in that series was just brilliant.

That and Fawlty Towers for me. Like FT, I could watch each episode over and over again and never get tired of them...
