The only thing I've seen is that Russell had one of his better games of the season, didn't deserve to get pulled, and most people are wondering why he's not finishing the season.

JR will be out of the NFL in a few years. Likely broke in 10-15 years.

jamarcus is surrounded by sub par athletes. At lsu he had A good oline, running backs and not three but FOUR first round recievers davis, bowe, early and lafell will probably be first round matierial.

He was never going to win at oakland. For the long term (which most don't think about when they know they will be the number one pick) he should of stayed his senior year took a lower pick with less money for now. got more expierience, and end up on a better team that would have put him in a postition to succeed. In the long run he would have been better.

If Jamarcus stays his senior year, LSU wins a national championship without losses to Kentucky and Arkansas and is a frontrunner and possibly wins the Heisman, he probably still goes No.1 overall or, god forbid, still ends up in Oakland.

His problem is that he was always incredibly raw talent... and for whatever reason, no one in Oakland felt the need to try to develop him.

gotta call 'em as you see 'em. BUST!

JR got by with physical talent and being surrounded my some good skill folks.

In reality, he had one good year while at LSU and he finished with a flourish.

If the Raiders are awful for YEARS, it isn't just lack of talent, it's lack of coaching. The draft is set up to help teams even out their talent (to a degree). Idk if JR would do any better anywhere else, but saying JR should be doing well on any given team is idiotic.

BS. Our defense lost us both of those games, not our offense.

A dominant offense masks a mediocre defense.

Didn't we average in the mid 30's that year?

We scored 37 against UK
We scored 48 against Arkansas

Explain to me again how our offense wasn't dominant?
