Pretty sure JR being black doesn't have shite to do with the fact that he's a retard with no situational awareness. Got too many examples in the NFL of top notch black QB's for anybody to believe that.

If you can't see the utter failure this guy is at the NFL level, maybe you should take off the racism glasses and pay attention to the game.

When Ray-Ray died it all went downhill. He was JR's Cus D'amato.

I disagree. The Raiders have tried to upgrade the talent on the team. For sume reason they always underper form when they get to the Raider. If Jr had been a leader and put a lot of dedicated effort into leading the team, he probably could have had a positive affect.

That article seems to make the point that JR was maybe the best of a poor group of quarterbacks available in the that draft.

It's hard to ask a QB to be successful when you constantly change the coaching staff (bad coaches at that) and give him sub-par talent. Now, JR probably hasn't had the best work ethic, but even if he prepared like a Brady or a Manning, I doubt the Raider's would be too much better.

won games in 07 in spite if flynn

how many did we win in 06 in spite of JR?? more for sure.

And we lost two big ones because of his poor accuracy - how many times does this have to be pointed out??

he completed screen passes and got his downfield receivers killed on most of the long passes he threw.

I don't care what color he is - but apparantly most of you who defend him think that since he was black, then he is immune from criticism.

During the 06 season, I never ever said that Flynn was better - only that JR wasn't getting the job done at times and Flynn ought to be given a chance to break the pattern.

Turns out after seeing Flynn for a season and JR for a season, that Flynn is FAR greater as a college QB than JR ever was.

I don't give a shite about the pros in any sport - only college. I figured that JR would have a great pro career after getting some time to fix his accuracy problems.

I don't follow his progress hoping for failure either. I wish he would become a great pro.

but - I will continue to stick it in the eye of you who blindly worshiped his blackness here at LSU.

The wide recieving corp consists of a bunch of late rounders, Javon Walker, and DHB( as Raiders fans call him Drops Hella Balls).

so you're saying our backup, who threw a pick6 against MSU, was better than the best QB in CFB in 2006?"

"I sure hope not!! That was a stupid statement.

It is kind of a sad, socially revealing thread...that being said, it is worth checking out just to see the two biggest douche bags on this board go at each other.

yup. going to a really bad franchise can ruin a qb. remember Hodson? He didn't have the tools for the pros? Went to New England when they were really horrible and never developed.
